The sound of her mother’s voices triggers another mental flash, she sees her mother laying inside what is left of the house buried under ruble of the house and snow. She sees her mother, and she is dead! She closes her eyes and snaps out of the flash but she can't take what she just saw the emotions are to much everything feels like it’s about to exploded her ears are ringing, The Avalanche… "NOOOO!" she screams!
A few days earlier on the distant planet Kepler. There sits a village halfway up a mountain and from the village you can see tall snow caped mountains in the backdrop that reach high into the blue sky. In front of the village there is a cliff that overlooks an immense green forest with trees so big that they are used as homes by the native people of the planet. Further out into the horizon you can just make out the view of a large beautiful body of water that could be an ocean or a large lake. Within the village there are many homes and structures for various tasks. The homes are built of logs in an “A” frame styles homes to help keep the snow off the roofs during the winter months. The houses appear rustic from the outside because of natural materials used for construction of the exterior portion of the homes. On the insides of the homes there are advanced computers and materials used to make living comfortable and set up in regulated fashion. The village accommodates only mothers and their small children, none of the children are older than 7. Life is very basic in the village and lived in an old manner, if it wasn’t for the space cargo ships delivering food and goods to village one would almost think it was a much older time all together. The village is set into the mountain in a semicircle fashion with the flat part of the circle against the mountain and the curved outer edge of the village over looking the cliff. In the center are three large concrete looking structures with large blast doors on the outside. The three structures face in different directions pointing out towards the cliff drop off.

    Finn Dear you need to bring the chickens inside their coup it's going to snow soon. Yes, mama Finn replies and begins to do as she is told. She steps outside to see that it already has started snowing. She is taken over by the sight of the grass and rocky hillside and sheer cliffs in the distances. She smiles at the sight and wishes she had time to go play. She hears her mom ask again if she brought the chickens inside their coup.  She quickly gets back to her task rounding up the chickens and trying to lure them into the coup with feed. One chicken fly's up on to a nearby cliff side.
Finn yells for her mother to tell what has happened. Her mother looks outside and sees where the chicken is and knows she can get to the chicken with a few clever moves and feels a bit of showing off in front of her daughter is in order. Finn's mother leaps on top of the chicken coup and jumps to a nearby branch swinging from the branch to gain momentum to swing up and over the branch to where she is standing on it and jumps over to the cliff side and snatches the chicken. She looks down at Finn and smiles. Finn is so overly excited with what she just saw. She immediately copies her mother's moves until she standing next to her mom. Her mother is so impressed she can hardly believe what her daughter has done. As the skills she has, took her years to learn and her daughter just did it in a few seconds! Your physical abilities are going to surpass me very soon, but it is also essential that you train your mind and your soul as much as you do your body. It was your minds ability to understand what you saw me do and how to do it and your body was strong and agile enough to carry out those moves! Well done you will make an excellent warrior someday. The next morning came, and Finn was awake before her mother and remember it was snowing yesterday and rushed to the window to see how much it snowed. To her disappointment, there wasn't any snow anywhere just a lot of mud and puddles. She went outside anyway to check on the chickens. She caught a glimpse of one of the supply ships coming into the village to drop off goods and yelled and told her mom. The ship is here mama let's go! They got to the ship and got in line with the other mothers and their children waiting on supplies. Hello, Frigg here is your supplies for you and your daughter. They received their supply's, and Finn was quick to notice that they were short compared to the last shipment. The supply man was sorry for his mistake and filled the rest of the supplies and thanked Finn for being so smart. On the way home, Finn sees the ship fly off and asks her mother what is like up there? You know with the stars. Her mother is again impressed with her five-year-old daughter's ability to comprehend the outside world and what she sees. Well for one it's very cold and sometimes very hot. Sometimes it's very colorful, and sometimes there is nothing. Finn interrupts "that sounds like everything is up there! That's where I want to go!"
Her mother reminds her of her age and that when the time comes, she will be called up by the covenant to begin her training as a warrior. Her abilities of physical prowess or mental aptitude that she will be placed with a specific sponsor to teach her in those ways. Finn quickly asks but why can't you teach me now? Because it is forbidden by the covenant for me to teach anything related to combat. Figg tells her that when she is 7, then she will go. For now, she has more chores at home.  Frigg tells her daughter they better get a move on, it looks like a bad storm is on its way.  The two hurry home in time before the storm gets to them, but 6 inches of snow has already come down and more coming with the storm. Frigg tells Finn off to bed and that she loves her and will see her in the morning.

The next morning Finn awakes first and springs out of bed to look outside only she can not see anything out of the window where snow has blown and stuck to the glass. She opens the front door to see snow piled three-quarters of the way up the door. She starts to giggle and closes the door and gets dressed to go check on the chickens. She burrows out the front door and eventually makes it over to the chickens that are all safe and sound in their chicken coup. She sprinkles some chicken feed on the ground of the coupe and heads outside. She takes a step into the snow and is stopped by a faint rumbling sound coming from the cliffs. She stops and turns around half nervous half curious to see an avalanche headed right for her, carrying massive boulders and trees. Her heart begins to race; she can't hear or see anything other than this avalanche in front of her. The Rumble of it is getting louder as it screams down the mountain towards her. Flashes of thoughts enter her brain, her chickens in the coup next to her, then she sees the snow getting closer and the rumbling even louder.  Another flash of the little boy she didn't even realize she noticed who is outside playing and he hasn’t noticed the avalanche yet. The rumble has started to shake the ground. The little boy notices and runs off yelling for his mother, this awakens Finn’s mother and she yells for Finn! The avalanche is now in front of her! Her scream is not normal scream it is heard over the sound of the avalanche! Finn still screaming, snow is rushing past her boulders fly by her and trees break in half in front of her. As quickly as the snow came, everything settles in time for Frigg to run out of the house and is stopped in her tracks by the sight of snow and boulders and broken trees all around the house, but nothing touched the house. It is as if someone place giant "V" facing the cliff that blocked everything. Frigg follows the v shape to the point of the V just to see Finn collapse. Frigg yells and runs toward her. Other neighbors come and are astonished by what they see. Frigg reaches Finn and checks her vitals; she is alive and will be fine. She overhears the neighbors whispers they should all be dead one says, another says the covenant will want to hear of this child ASAP. Frigg begins to worry as she is all too familiar with what testing and dissecting they would do to her daughter. She takes Finn inside. And comes to the decision that she needs to get Finn away from the covenant for her own safety.

 Frigg knows there are evacuation ships on the other side of town and figures she needs to leave as soon as she can. She packs some extra food, and last remembers hearing that her old sponsor was on Earth. She plans to seek her guidance for what is best for her daughter. Frigg waits until nightfall, and straps Finn to her back and puts a large coat over them both. Pulls her hood over Finn and her head and begins her journey to the escape ships. There seems to still be some people out working on the clean up of the avalanche and Frigg is going to use their distraction as a means to slip by unnoticed. She makes it all the way to the gate of the installation that holds the ships. It's a small 12ftx14ft building with stairs leading down to an underground facility used to protect the ships from any aerial attack.

The ships and their ejections ports are arranged in a circle with the building in the middle. Each port is on a 45-degree slope with the deepest part of the port is where the ship rests at. The exit of the port has automatic doors that only open during the launch. The building isn't guarded by much just some cameras auto animated security drones. The flying drones have set path they fly, Frigg lays in wait deciphering their path and predicting their movements. Once she figures out their way, she makes her move hiding behind trees when needed. Frigg is out in the open when she hears a drone coming with nothing to hide behind. She spots a rather deep snow drift and dives head first and quickly works to make sure her whole body is under the snow the drone catches some movement in the snow and comes in closer for a scan. Frigg slows her breathing and heart rate with meditation and breathing. The droid begins the scan with a solid line laser that reaches the ground and scans back in for a few times. The period computes the results, and loud negative tone admits from the droid and returns to its standard path. She has artfully reached the building and goes inside. Frigg realizes that the startup sequence will not take long, however, but will draw attention to her fast. She makes it to the ship and begins to check the supplies to make sure there is enough food and water to last them. The ship is stocked with enough food and water for 6 adults for 2 months. This should give her and her daughter enough food for a year.  Frigg looks over the ship and figures that the trip is going to take around 6 months to get to Earth. She buckles Finn up for take off. Then heads outside the ship to make sure the rest of it is in order and doing her pre-flight checks. As she is finishing up, she rounds a corner and is standing face to face with a huge muscular woman with a confused look on her face. What exactly are you doing here? Frigg being apart of a warrior recon force before bearing a child has been in these kinds of situations before and shocks the large woman with the truth. Well I am taking my daughter out of here you can stand aside, or I can go through you.  Now, this other woman is much larger then Frigg and is no doubt an elite warrior herself and looks at Frigg with a smile and says I will enjoy hunting you down when the covenant asks me too. Are you going to tell them that I have gone asks Frigg? No the farther you go, the more fun it will be to bring you back, with that the large woman starts her way again up the steps to the surface. Frigg returns to the ship and closes all the hatches and repairs for launch. She buckles up. And hits the emergency launch button which violently blows the doors on the front of the launch tube off and immediately slings shots the ship with an electromagnetic rail system. Unaware of Frigg the large woman is standing just outside the tube. She is launching from and shoots the ship with a tracking device.  

The ship makes it to orbit, and Frigg checks on Finn who is still unconscious but is mumbling something. Frigg leans in and can make out only "to many Hallows." Another 24 hours pass in space on their course to Earth and Frigg is awaken by calls of "mama." Yes, dear, I'm coming Frigg frantically replies and rushes to her side. Where are we, mama? Where you wanted to be, she smiles and finishes with "space." Finn awakens more and excitedly. I want to see, I want to see. Her mother points the way to the cockpit. Finn can hardly believe her eyes with the number of stars she can see, and what looks like green and blue fog in dense areas of stars with bright suns. It is so much more beautiful then I could have imagined mama. Yes, it truly is a sight to behold. Finn dear do you remember anything of what happened before you woke up here?
Not a whole lot. I remember the snow and being scared… then nothing until now.
Frigg restrains from telling her what she did as she her self can't explain it let alone to her daughter.

 Very concerned for her child Frigg is perplexed as to what is going on with Finn and how she seems to know of things in her subconscious. She tells Finn its nothing and that its time for her to get to some food and she will need her strength. Finn is happy with the idea of food as she feels like she hasn't eaten in months. Frigg explains to Finn that they are on their way to Earth to find her old sponsor Master Yoruichi. That she is a sage and mighty "blooded" warrior.  What does "blooded" mean mommy? Frigg explains that it would be better to start at the beginning how the Covenant trains its warriors. Frigg walks over to one of her packed bag's and pulls out a very thick book with the words "Covenant Warrior manual" written over the cover. Frigg skips to a chapter in the book and says let's start here, shall we?
When Children are born, they are kept with their mothers until the age of 7. The mother is excused for their duties until the child is of age to become the property of the covenant. The child is then taken in and housed is same-sex dormitories. The children are vaccinated, taught basic cleaning principles for both body and living areas. DNA testing is done to determine the genetic potential of each child has and, in which category the child fits into. The categories are Mental potential and physical potential. Those scoring high enough in one of these categories will be matched up with a sponsor to teach them their corresponding craft.
A child with high marks in mental abilities will be groomed for one of the following general areas of study:
            Officer – Management role in highly specialized fields that require professional degrees.  (e.g., Combat medical care, leading of armies into battle. All things that require a great mind in war).
            SPEC OPS Officer – ((((/text omitted TOP SECRET)))
            Human Laboratory Science Development Officer – Management in Genetic laboratory work for future Covenant warriors.
 
Those with high potential in physical abilities are groomed for the following general areas of study.
Warrior- with both hand to hand weapons and projectile.
