Anima Radix Core
The central portion of the system, where most of our species remains, includes everything from the system's absolute center at Sol out to the farthest object, Hygiea, a major asteroid close to the inner edge of the asteroid belt. Our evactuation from Earth following the Calamity resulted in the proliferation of over forty-two early settlements, including the first space station colonies; a number that has since dwindled to twenty-seven in the decades since leaving Earth, either due to having sustained irreparable damage during the New Frontier War or from being abandoned as we continued to spread into the outer edges of the system.
