Cipher, Sect LXXXVIII-117
One of his chapter's most well-respected hunters, this Cipher has not failed in securing a single bounty in his four years as part of the Fringe Bounty Hunters' Guild. His skills and tendency to only go after some of the most dangerous or otherwise difficult bounties in the system has given him the reputation of a wolf that relentlessly stalks his prey.
An aerotracer race pilot-turned bounty hunter, this Cipher left the circuit in search of a bigger, better adrenaline rush—and payout. The existence of the guild has never been a secret on Ganymede, but it wasn't until a bounty hunter put an abrupt stop to a race he was participating in while in pursuit of one of the other pilots that he made the decision to join.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Casting an intimidating silhouette, this Cipher often seems much more imposing than his actual physical height would suggest simply by virtue of how he carries himself. Furthermore, his time as a bounty hunter and the training required to maintain his combat prowess has layered on a great deal of muscle mass, adding width to his otherwise narrow frame.
Physical quirks
An injury sustained while pursuing a bounty on Luna left him with a uneven gait, slightly favoring his left knee. Despite his attempts to conceal the issue, he noticeably takes care bearing weight on the leg when he's fatigued.

Personal history
A Ganymede native, this Cipher joined the Jovian moon's chapter of the guild at the age of 32, quickly making a name for himself as a skilled bounty hunter by bringing down the pirate Connor McKay and his crew after a lengthy aerotracer chase through central Gasteiger on Mars. The handlers at the Gasteiger guildhall actually refused to give the fledgling bounty hunter any info about the pirate's bounty, as he had only been a guild member for just over three months at the time.
In a stroke of luck, moments after he left the guildhall, McKay and the pursuing SolSec officers sped by overhead. This Cipher took it as a sign and immediately boarded his custom Empyrean KRE aerotracer and set off after them. The pirate managed to shake SolSec, but much to their frustration, they couldn't lose the bounty hunter. McKay and his crew, having made the assessment that the Cipher's aerotracer wouldn't be able to keep up with their much sturdier spacecraft in the upper atmosphere, made for the clouds above. Unfortunately for them, the modifications to his own craft allowed him far more maneuverability than a typical KRE would have in thinner atmospheres and he was able to quickly outpace them on the ascent. Once in range, the hunter landed several direct hits on the pirate ship's engines, sending McKay and his crew hurtling back toward the surface.
In a particularly impressive display of his skills, this Cipher jettisoned and inflated his aerotracer's emergency landing airbags underneath the pirates' ship and used the nose of his aerotracer to nudge the falling ship towards an open lot in the center of a construction zone. Such an incredible success on one of his very first bounty hunts elevated the man almost immediately to the upper echelons of the guild and, while the next four years would not provide another such opportunity, it would eventually put him on the trail of the terrorists responsible for the attack on Antioch Bay in 35 SE.
This Cipher was last seen headed to Vesta in search of the fugitive ex-emissary going by the name "Mercury," lured by the terrorist's recently-skyrocketing bounty of 70,000 Aurumbits.
Morality & Philosophy
While he exudes a cold, stern exterior and adheres strictly to his pursuit of money, those closest to him will insist that he's far less uncaring that he'd like people to believe; a sentiment born of his outright refusal to go after certain bounties, even when his fellow sect members insist, because the subject of the bounty isn't considered a hardened criminal.
Personality Characteristics
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Aside from his piloting skills, this Cipher is also considered a talented saboteur and a skilled marksman. Armed with his pair of matching cobalt-blue Kaisar V1053 railpistols, a generous number of explosives, and enough time to prepare, he has single-handedly cleared out entire floors of some of his more violent bounties' underlings on several occasions.
Vices & Personality flaws
This Cipher struggles with a tabacco habit—a fairly rare addiction, even out in the Fringe. The vice most often presents itself when he needs to combat his stress.
