Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Of average height, Λ-200's stature and demeanor belies his strength and physical resilience, though he is noticeably stocky when seen in plain view. If not for a short list of very distinct features, the man could easily blend in with most populations—particularly those who make their home in the Core.

Identifying Characteristics

Λ-200's right orbital socket and right eye are synthetic, with portions of his frontal and zygomatic facial bones replaced with early cybernetics-grade mitranium alloy while an anti-electromagnetic surface circuit runs along the skin of his cheek and eyebrow. The eye itself appears to be no different than his natural eye, but when its functions are utilized, it temporarily glows, emitting a faint cyan light for the duration of its operation.

Physical quirks

The training he received as an emissary for the Hierarchical Networking Department has had lasting effects on his physical habits, often absent-mindedly flexing his right hand and popping the joints.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The files provided by the Department of Administrative Affairs reveal that Emissary Λ-200 was born on Earth. His parents were both members of a wasteland commune nestled in the southeastern quarter of the continent of North America. He was one of the many infants taken in by the Pasiphae's Cradle welfare organization.

After coming of age under the supervision of the nurses working with Pasiphae's Cradle, he was transferred to the boarding school and given an education specifically curated by the best and brightest of the Institute for Advancing Civilization. Following his graduation from the IAC at the age of 16, he was recruited by the HND and assigned to Syndic Mehriban Attar on Ceres. Λ-200 maintained his position on Ceres until the dissolving of the HND in 32 SE.

The last entry in Λ-200's files reference an rejected transfer offer to SolSec two months after the HND officially closed its offices.

Mental Trauma

The psychological reports released by the CMND indicate anti-social behavior and mental instability, pointing specifically towards schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder.

Personality Characteristics

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Λ-200 possesses an almost supernatural aptitude with electronics and is able to quickly manipulate computers and gain access to network devices with ease, a skillset that is undoubtedly reinforced by cybernetic enhancements.

Likes & Dislikes

Eye-witness accounts bear a common notion that he avoids social interactions, likely in an effort to maintain a low profile.

Real-World Meta

The frontman and one of the two remaining founding members of the band, Michael Sanders portrays the ex-emissary, Mercury, on stage, pouring emotion into the microphone and setting the tone of the band's sound with synthesizers and orchestral arrangements.

Michael continued to expand upon the concept of Jupiter Pilot during the band's hiatus and, with the support of two brand-new members in addition to the original guitarist, he was able to lean into his love for orchestral scores, soundtracks, movies, television, and video games in an effort to solidify what the band was truly meant to be. The singer took advantage of his time away to learn new skills, including audio production and visual effects, and set his sights on presenting stories relevant to today's world through the lens of a cyberpunk space opera.
